Maintenance Technician

- Inspect buildings and other structures repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.
- Perform minor maintenance of electrical system including the replacement or repair of fixtures i.e. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, circuit breaker panels, minor appliances, cords, etc.
- Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary.
- Perform minor plumbing maintenance i.e. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, trenching and laying new sewer lines, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc.)
- Perform manual repairs i.e. fix locks and handles, replace windows, etc.
- Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed.
- Assist the reconfiguration, installation, positioning and remounting of the modular offices and space i.e. furniture, wall panels, work surfaces, storage bins, lighting, file cabinets, etc., to accommodate user needs and maximize the office space.
- Perform general upkeep procedures by painting various structures and equipment i.e. walls, floors, roofs, doors, restroom facilities, etc., to preserve wood and metal parts from corrosion and to maintain a safe, comfortable working environment.
- Assist activities of pest control i.e. spraying insecticide, setup mouse trap, etc., to minimize or prevent the disturbance of potential pests to the company premises.
- Perform other ad-hoc task as assigned by the superior.
