Merchant Acquisition Executive (Banking)

Position: Banking - Merchant Acquisition Executive
Salary: from RM3200 (based on work experience)
Work location: Shah Alam

🔍 Requirements:
• Minimum Diploma / Degree in related field
• At least 3 years of experience in business development, corporate sales or merchant acquisition (non-banking background welcome)
• Strong English communication (spoken & written)
• Open to travelling on a moderate basis

🧩 What you’ll do:
• Acquire new merchants and grow card acceptance network in Malaysia
• Identify business gaps and strategise merchant acquisition plans
• Manage relationships with key merchants and business partners
• Handle escalations, cancellation threats & merchant retention
• Work closely with third-party acquirers and partner banks
• Support projects, new business lines, and acceptance coverage expansion
