Operations / Project Coordinator (Air / Sea / MNC Freight Forwarding) - KL

Job Scope
-Arrange and coordinate shipments by sea, air or land
-Apply the necessary customs permits
-Liaise with contractors on timely collection and delivery of cargoes
-Liaise with respective overseas offices and agents
-Attending to site meetings, surveys & loadouts as and when required
-Acknowledge incoming invoices and raise invoices to customers for payment
-Update and operate the Operations System (BLU)
-Update the tracking and tracing tools when in place for respective project
-Prepare quotations to clients, other office or agents
-Request and negotiate ad-hoc quotations from approved carriers, supplier and sub-contractor to ensure quality service at the best possible rate
-Ensure all clients requests are shared with the Operations Manager or Project Manager

Requirement
-Diploma in Business Administration / Logistics management or equivalent
-2 – 4 years of working experience in freight forwarding industry
