Job Description

Responsibilities:
-Manage spare parts inventory by performing regular stock checks, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
-Maintain accurate stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
-Organize, label, and store spare parts properly for easy identification and retrieval.
-Update and maintain accurate inventory records in the system.
-Prepare and issue picking lists for spare parts requested by mechanics.
-Ensure proper documentation and records for parts issuance and returns.
-Prepare purchase orders based on workshop requirements and inventory needs.
-Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and follow up on outstanding orders.
-Support workshop operations by preparing parts for scheduled service jobs and sourcing urgent parts when required.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area while following safety procedures and 5S practices.

Skills and Qualifications:
-Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification
-Preferably 1 - 2 years of experience in automotive spare parts, inventory and storekeeping
-Basic computer knowledge (inventory system / Excel)
-Good organizational and record-keeping skills
-Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work in a team
-Experience in automotive service centre or spare parts environment will be an advantage
-Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
-Must be able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
