PERMENANT LOCUM RADIOGRAHPER (BASED IN PJ AVENUE SPECIALIST CLINIC)

Responsibilities:

Diagnostic Imaging:

Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopy.

Ensure adherence to standard protocols and guidelines for each imaging modality.

Quality Assurance:

Implement and maintain quality assurance programs for radiographic imaging services.

Monitor and assess the quality and accuracy of radiographic images.

Equipment Operation:

Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring proper functioning and calibration.

Coordinate with technical staff to address equipment issues promptly.

Patient Care:

Coordinate with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure comfort during imaging.

Position patients accurately for optimal imaging results.

Collaboration with Medical Staff:

Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of radiographic images.

Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient cases.

Administrative Tasks:

Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures, including patient information and imaging results.

Assist in administrative tasks related to the radiology department.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements for radiography services.

Stay informed about changes in radiography regulations and implement necessary adjustments.

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.

Requirements

1. Certification and registration with the relevant regulatory body.

2. Proficiency in performing a variety of radiographic imaging procedures.

3. Knowledge of quality assurance programs and radiology information systems.

4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Attention to detail and accuracy in positioning patients for optimal imaging.

6. Familiarity with radiation safety protocols.

Working Conditions

1. Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the radiology department's needs.

2. Interaction with patients, medical professionals, and hospital administrators.
