Pharmacy Store Assistant

o ensure pharmaceutical requisitions are picked, packed, documented and sent out according to assigned schedule

Assist in updating all related records relating to supply (e.g. wholesale record book, controlled drugs records such as Dangerous Drugs, Psychotropic Substances, codeine- and pseudoephedrine-containing preparations) in an orderly manner

Verify stocks received are correct according to Purchase Orders, are in good condition and have acceptable expiry dates

Assist in performing accurate goods receipt into the HIS system within stipulated timelines

Assist in compiling and submitting related documents to the relevant department within stipulated timelines for processing

Ensure stocks received are stored appropriately within the stipulated timeline

Conduct routine expiry checks on pharmaceuticals in store

Assist in compiling lists of defective, slow-moving or short-expiry stocks for review and action

Verify that facility temperature and humidity records are accurate and within acceptable range to maintain product integrity
