Pre-Sales Engineer

Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the sales team and lead deep-dive sessions with customers to understand their current infrastructure, pain points, and future goals, and translate them into technical solutions.
· Conduct live product demonstrations, presentations, and manage Proof of Concept (PoC) evaluations to prove the value of proposed solutions.
· Provide pre-sales support, including preparing bill of materials, technical proposals, and technical specifications.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape.
· Assist post-sales engineers to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
· Perform onsite service at clients' locations as and when required.
· To undertake any ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

Requirements:

Network
· Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in a pre-sales or technical sales or network engineering role.
· Network

-Good technical knowledge and understanding of enterprise wired and wireless networks (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, SDWAN, WiFi 6/7, etc.)
-Proficiency with at least two major vendors (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, etc.)
-Professional Certifications: Cisco CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Wireless, or equivalent

· System
-Good technical knowledge and understanding of enterprise server, storage, server virtualization, backup solutions, data center networking, etc.
-Proficiency with at least two major vendors (DELL, HPE, Lenovo, Microsoft, VMware, Veeam, etc.)
-Professional Certifications: Dell DCS-TA, HPE MASE, NetApp CTSP, VMware VCP, Veeam VMCE, or equivalent
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and customer-centric approach.
