Product Owner/Product Delivery Manager (Trading/Fintech)

Key Responsibilities

Leading the delivery of the trading platform roadmap, enhancing the experience for global CFD and spread betting traders.

Translating complex business requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Collaborating with engineering and architecture teams to understand the technology stack, influence architectural decisions, and ensure scalability.

Managing the technical product backlog, prioritising tasks, guiding estimation, identifying dependencies, and addressing technical debt.

Leading Agile ceremonies and fostering a collaborative culture within development teams and across the wider business community and strategy.

Overseeing release management with QA, SRE, and engineering teams to ensure smooth and predictable deployments.

Acting as the primary point of contact for development squads and communicating effectively with stakeholders on roadmap delivery and technical concepts.

Job Requirements

3+ years of experience in a technical product role, ideally within Fintech, Trading, or high-transactional environments.

Strong understanding of modern software architecture (APIs, Microservices, Cloud infrastructure)

Deep experience running Scrum or Kanban methodologies in a fast-paced, multi-squad environment.

Strong ability to write clear, concise user stories and technical documentation that minimizes development rework.

Logical, data-driven mindset with the ability to unblock technical teams by making rapid, informed trade-offs.

Ability to manage expectations, negotiate and compromise with stakeholders to protect the squad's focus and delivery quality.
