Production Line Leader - Senai

Job Responsibilities
Production Management & Just-in-Time Delivery
-Plan and manage daily and weekly production schedules to achieve motor seat assembly line targets.
-Monitor production progress and resolve any issues promptly to avoid delays.
-Implement 5S practices, optimize line layout and improve workflow to be more efficient.

Equipment Maintenance & Cost Control
-Lead daily machine inspections, basic maintenance and minor repairs.
-Support technical teams in preventive maintenance work to reduce machine breakdowns.
-Monitor labor costs, defect rates, tool and PPE usage. Prepare cost reports and suggest improvements.

Employee Training & Quality Control
-Prepare training plans for new employees (e.g. assembly processes, test standards).
-Implement a “buddy” system to improve employee skills and ensure all pass job qualification tests.
-Supervise quality inspections during production (first product, continuous inspection, and re-check) to reduce defect rates.

Collaboration & Communication
-Act as a liaison between the Malaysian and Chinese management teams to ensure clear production and quality instructions.
-Collaborate with warehouse and material teams to ensure adequate supply of materials on the production line.
-Build team collaboration, resolve employee issues, and support smooth collaboration between local staff and Chinese management.

Job Requirements
-Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Malay (essential for regional communication).
-Minimum SPM.
-At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing/manufacturing.
-Knowledge of assembly line operations and basic lean tools (e.g. standard time calculation).
-Willing to work in rotating shifts (day/night)
