Production Operators (Manufacturing Industry)

1. Job Purpose
Responsible for performing daily production activities in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and safety guidelines to ensure production targets and quality standards are met.

2. Key Responsibilities
Operational Execution: Operate machinery and production equipment strictly following SOPs to achieve daily output targets.
Quality Control: Conduct regular visual inspections and manual checks on products to identify defects; immediately report any quality deviations to the supervisor.
Equipment Maintenance & Inspection: Perform basic daily cleaning and maintenance of assigned tools and machines; strictly complete daily inspection checklists (as per company procedures).
Material Handling: Assist in moving materials using manual pallet jacks (Jets) or forklifts as required. Note: Forklifts are only to be used for bulk loading/unloading as instructed to optimize operational costs.
Attendance & Shift Adherence: Comply with the 12-hour shift schedule (e.g., 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM). Ensure punctual attendance and provide thorough handovers to the next shift.
Workplace Housekeeping (5S): Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times. Ensure tools are returned to designated areas after use.
Documentation: Accurately record production data, hourly output, and downtime logs as required for administrative reporting.
