Production Planner / Production Officer

Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, stock levels, and production capacity.
-Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
-Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and adjust schedules to minimize delays and bottlenecks.
-Collaborate with quality control to ensure that production meets safety and quality standards.
-Analyze production data and provide reports on efficiency, output, and resource utilization.
-Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in production planning.
-Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards in manufacturing processes.
-Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to align production with order fulfillment requirements.
-Manage inventory levels to prevent overproduction or stock shortages.
-Address any unexpected issues in production, such as machine breakdowns or material shortages, by adjusting plans accordingly.

Requirements:
-Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related fields.
-Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
-Excellent communication and coordination skills to liaise with multiple departments.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
-Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies is an advantage.
