Production Technician

Key Responsibilities :

Operate and monitor various unit operations including reactors, wash columns, dryers separators, reboiler, chiller and steam separators

Perform the transesterification process to convert feedstocks into biodiesel and glycerol

Adjust process variables (temperature, pressure, flow rates) to optimize yield, quality and efficiency

Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process upsets and potential hazards

SCADA operation, in process quality testing and accurately fill field log sheet, SCADA log sheets and utility log sheet

Raw material and product sampling

Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment

Requirements :

Minimum Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Technology or equivalent

At least 2 years of experience in a process manufacturing environment (chemical, petrochemical, biofuels, oleochemicals or similar)

Basic understanding of chemical processes and the ability to follow complex SOPs

Ability to work in shift schedule and perform overtime

Willing to work at Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ)
