Purchasing

Key Responsibilities
-Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials at the best possible price
-Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities to optimise stock to meet production demands
-Develop and implement purchasing strategies to drive cost savings and operational efficiency
-Collaborate cross-functionally with production, logistics and finance teams to align purchasing activities with business needs
-Analyse purchasing data and provide recommendations to improve purchasing processes and performance
-Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant industry regulations

Qualifications
-Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or a related field
-Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing sector
-Strong negotiation and contract management skills with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and implement process improvements
-Proficient in data analysis and reporting using relevant software tools
-Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Familiar with inventory management principles and cost optimization techniques
