QA cum CNC Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities
1- CNC Machine Operations
• Setup & Calibration: Set up tooling, load raw materials, and configure machine parameters per blueprints.
• Operation & Monitoring: Operate CNC machines (e.g., Lathes, Mills) to fabricate precision components while monitoring cycle times and output.
• Maintenance: Perform daily preventative maintenance, tool changes, and basic troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine uptime.
• Setting up, running, and troubleshooting production machines, along with ensuring output meets both safety and operational standards.

2- Quality Assurance (QA) & Inspection
• Utilize precision measuring instruments—such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs—to verify product tolerances.
• Conduct incoming, in-process, and final article inspections to identify non-conforming or defective parts using measurement tools, and maintaining accurate inspection documentation.
• Maintain quality control logs, production reports, and inspection records in compliance with QA standards.
• Isolate defective items and report non-conformances to production and engineering teams to support root cause analysis.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining and quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Demonstrated ability to use precise hand-held measuring tools and operate CMM equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, high attention to detail, and the ability to stand for long periods.
• Other tasks assigned by superior and management.
