QA/ QC Manager

Key Responsibilities:
-Compliance Leadership: Act as the Management Representative for IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, overseeing all internal/external audits and certification readiness.
-Technical Oversight: Establish quality protocols for specialized 1xxx to 7xxx series alloys, including grain structure validation and mechanical property testing.
-Metallurgical Validation: Supervise lab operations, including Optical Emission Spectrometry (OES), tensile testing, and hardness verification (T4/T5/T6 tempers).
-Process Control: Implement and monitor Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC) to stabilize production and reduce rejection rates.
-Root Cause Analysis: Lead 8D and 5-Why investigations into extrusion defects (e.g., surface finish, structural piping, or alloy segregation).
-Supplier & Sustainability Quality: Audit upstream scrap collection processes to ensure raw material purity for our recycled alumina and zero-carbon projects.

Requirements
-Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
-Experience: Minimum 5–8 years in Aluminum Extrusion or Casting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
-Certification Expertise: Proven track record of leading IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 implementations.
-Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of 1000–7000 series alloy properties and extrusion ratios.
-Tools: Mastery of Core Tools (PPAP/FMEA/SPC) and structured problem-solving (8D).
-Location: Able to work in Port Klang / Pulau Indah.
-Communication: Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage for technical coordination).
