Quantity Surveyor (Interior Design & Build)

Studio Putih 5 is an Interior Design & Build company specialising in renovation, carpentry, and interior projects.

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our new office in Puchong!

Important: Candidates must be able to start work within 14 working days after the interview/job offer. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider candidates with a one-month notice period from the current job.



About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. With our own carpentry factory, we provide complete design-and-build solutions from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities
-Prepare quotations, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and cost estimates.
-Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
-Conduct quantity take-offs for renovation, interior fit-out, and custom carpentry works.
-Source, compare, and negotiate quotations with suppliers and subcontractors.
-Prepare project budgets and monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
-Verify subcontractor claims, progress claims, and payment certificates.
-Prepare Variation Orders (VO), cost reports, and Final Accounts.
-Work closely with the Design, Project Management, and Site teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
-Monitor material costs and recommend cost-saving solutions without compromising quality.
-Maintain accurate costing records and procurement documentation.

About you
-Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, or a related field.
-Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in Quantity Surveying related to Construction, Interior Design, or Carpentry.
-Able to read construction and interior design drawings.
-Strong knowledge of construction materials, market pricing, and procurement.
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and Sketchup.
-Good negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
-Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
-Possess a positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and attention to detail.
