Sales Assistant Manager - electronic components industry

Key Responsibilities

Handle OEM sales activities for both Japanese and local clients (new and existing business)
New : Existing = approx. 7 : 3

Manage and develop 2–3 key client accounts, focusing on long-term relationship building

Gather customer requirements and specifications, and coordinate internally with relevant departments

Explain manufacturing processes and technical details to clients

Coordinate mass production feasibility, cost, and delivery schedules (QCD management)

Provide first-line response to quality issues and coordinate root cause analysis internally

Prepare sales reports and progress updates for the Japanese manager

Liaise and coordinate with the Chinese management team and manufacturing site

Handle domestic business trips (KL: approximately once a week)

Support team operations and assist with daily management tasks

New vs. existing business: 7 : 3

Japanese vs. local clients: 5 : 5

Sales coverage area: Penang

Business travel:

Domestic: KL (once a week)

Overseas: Not required in principle

Number of accounts handled: 2–3 companies

■MUST TO HAVE:

At least 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry (electronic components, circuit boards, EMS, or automotive-related products)

■PREFER TO HAVE(Advantage)

Management experience or experience supporting a team

Experience dealing with Japanese companies or working in a Japanese corporate environment

OEM or EMS sales experience in a manufacturing environment



Working hour: Monday to Friday 8:00am-6:00pm
Annual leave: 8 Days.
