Position: Sales Engineer
Location: D'piazza, Penang (fully onsite)
Team size: 6 members
Interview Rounds: 2



RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and sharing of technical presentations on how a product works and solves a customer’s specific problem.

Work with existing customers to understand their needs and perhaps design a customized setup or "spec" to solve problems.

Communicate and coordinate with head office for purchases, technical and administration support required facilitating the customers' requirements.

Communicate and updating to department head to ensure that sales and customer objective are met.

Handle the technical details of Requests for Proposals and provide accurate data for official quotations.

To develop the sales and market/product presence for the Malaysia market to maximize sales revenues and meeting corporate objectives.

Provide feedback from the field to the R&D or Product team to help improve future versions of the product.


QUALIFICATIONS

Degree / Diploma in Engineering/ Technical Subjects or equivalent are preferred.

Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply

Candidate must be willing to travel, and must flexible to work in Malaysia.

Owning a vehicle is a MUST

Proven strong interpersonal and collaborative skills and be able to work independently and coordinate across various group and functional teams.

Good written and verbal communication listening. (negotiation and presentation skills is added advantage).

Good time management and problem-solving skills.

Good command of English and Chinese is an added advantage.

Candidates of local ethnicity but able to speak mandarin is an added advantage.



EXPERIENCE

Candidates with technical sales experience in semiconductor industry is added advantage.
