Sales Engineer

YHC Industrial Equipment Sdn. Bhd. is a subsidiary of a China-based company specializing in supply chain technology, including conveyors, ASRS, AMRs, AGVs, and industrial automation systems.
As we continue to expand our presence in Malaysia, we are seeking a dedicated Sales Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys dealing with clients, understanding industrial challenges, and turning them into feasible solutions.

About the Role
You will work closely with industrial clients to understand how their operations run and identify opportunities for improvement through automation. From initial discussions to proposal stage, you’ll be involved in recommending solutions such as conveyors, automated warehousing systems, and robotics.
You’ll also attend client meetings, conduct site visits, and collaborate with our engineering team to ensure solutions are practical, cost-effective, and aligned with customer needs. This role suits someone who enjoys both technical thinking and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities
• Engage with clients to understand business needs and operational challenges
• Propose suitable automation solutions together with the engineering team
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and basic solution concepts
• Support the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Ensure smooth handover of confirmed projects to the project team

Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field
• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–3 years experience are welcome
• Strong interest in automation, robotics, or industrial systems
• Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage)
• Willing to travel and learn
