Job Description

Identify, develop and close new business opportunities for AI and digital solutions (e.g. multi-LLM platform, SaaS solutions from Japan HQ) with large enterprise customers in Malaysia.

Manage the entire sales cycle as an individual contributor: prospecting, discovery, solution proposal, commercial negotiation, closing, and handover to delivery teams.

Focus on key verticals such as Government, Public Sector, Banking & Financial Services, Telecommunications, Healthcare and Retail, while remaining flexible to explore new segments.

Work closely with Japanese HQ and regional teams to understand new solutions, localize value propositions for the Malaysian / Southeast Asia market, and bring feedback from customers and partners.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at multiple levels (from working-level users to C-level executives).

Educate customers on safe and compliant AI adoption, including secure enterprise usage of LLMs, data residency and governance.

Develop and execute account plans, including revenue targets, opportunity plans, and engagement strategies.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders (presales, technical, delivery, legal, finance, etc.) to design compelling proposals and to ensure successful deal closure.

Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitive offerings in AI and digital solutions, and continuously refine sales strategies.

Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates and reports to the Sales Manager.



Overseas Business Trips

Frequency: Not frequent (approximately 1–2 times per year)

Purpose: Company training or annual company events



MUST HAVE :

We place stronger emphasis on practical experience, mindset and attitude toward work than on formal education.

Candidates with strong hands-on experience in B2B software / IT sales and the right attitude will also be positively considered, regardless of academic background.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in B2B software or IT, OR SaaS sales, selling to enterprise and/or SMB customers.

Experience selling to customers in Malaysia (enterprise and/or SMB), with a solid understanding of the local business environment.

Proven track record in hunting and closing new logos and/or expanding existing accounts.

PREFER TO HAVE(Advantage) :

Experience selling AI, data, analytics or cloud solutions is an advantage, but not mandatory.

Experience engaging C-level or senior management stakeholders is preferred, but strong relationship-building skills with business owners and functional managers in SMBs are also highly valued."

A bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, IT, Engineering or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
