About the Role
We are looking for a hands‑on L&D Technology, Automation & AI Manager / Assistant Manager to help modernise how learning is delivered and experienced across Southeast Asia.
In this role, you will lead the execution of learning technology projects, including LMS migration and platform enhancements, while spearheading automation and AI‑driven learning enablement. Your work will focus on building scalable, user‑centred digital solutions that make learning easier to access, smarter to navigate, and more efficient to operate.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of learning systems, automation, AI, and operations—and who is motivated by turning complexity into simple, effective solutions in a professional services environment.
What You’ll Do
Lead Learning Technology & Platform Delivery
Lead end‑to‑end delivery of major L&D technology initiatives, including LMS migration, platform rollouts, and system enhancements.
Own execution from planning through go‑live and stabilisation, working closely with HR, IT, vendors, and regional/global stakeholders.
Translate learning and business requirements into clear delivery plans, milestones, and adoption approaches.
Ensure platforms are secure, compliant, scalable, and fit for ongoing operations.
Drive Automation & AI‑Driven Learning Enablement
Spearhead automation of L&D processes such as enrolments, learner communications, reporting, and operational workflows.
Lead AI‑driven learning enablement, including:
Adaptive learning paths and personalised learning journeys
Intelligent content discovery and recommendations
AI‑enabled learner navigation and decision support across LMS, LXP, and content platforms
Design and deliver AI‑enabled learner experiences, including single‑access learning bots that provide one‑stop access to learning content, guidance, and FAQs.
Ensure responsible and compliant use of AI aligned with organisational policies and data privacy standards.
Enable Efficient Learning Operations
Improve operational efficiency through smart system design, automation, and clear SOPs, reducing reliance on manual work.
Provide escalation support and root‑cause resolution for learning system or data issues.
Support automated dashboards and self‑service reporting for stakeholders.
Contribute to shared Operations & Technology responsibilities to ensure continuity and service reliability
Continuously identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or improve how learning is delivered and supported.
What Success Looks Like
Major learning technology initiatives (e.g. LMS migration) are delivered smoothly and adopted successfully
Learners experience learning that is intuitive, accessible, and supported by self‑service and AI
Manual operational effort is significantly reduced through automation
Learning systems and data are reliable, scalable, and well‑governed
Requirements:
4–8+ years’ experience in learning technology, HR tech, digital enablement, automation, or operations transformation
Hands‑on experience delivering or supporting learning platforms (e.g. LMS, learning tools, dashboards), ideally including large‑scale changes or migrations
Practical experience automating workflows and improving operational efficiency
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Business, Technology, Data, Engineering, or a related field
Training or certification in learning technology, automation, AI, data/analytics, or project management is an advantage
Strong problem‑solving mindset and the ability to translate needs into scalable solutions
Clear communicator comfortable working with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Experience in professional services or complex, matrix organisations preferred
