Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

Accounting & Finance:
-Manage full spectrum of bookkeeping including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), payment processing, claims, and monthly reconciliations up to preparation of financial statements
-Ensure timely billing to customers and adherence to AP & AR procedures through accurate generation of invoices, debit notes, and credit notes
-Calculate and compile monthly sales commissions
-Monitor all actual expenses compared with the budgeted expenses set by management , if any highlight any discrepancies to management promptly for review and action highlight to management on timely basis
-Monitor company cash flow and ensure adequate funds for operations
-Track daily transactions, maintain the bank book, and perform month-end stock and account closings
-Oversee overall accounting and tax functions, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
-Prepare and submit Financial & Management Reports to management on a timely basis
-Handle E-Invoice / SST submissions in accordance with current tax regulations
-Maintain proper and systematic filing of all project and financial documents
-Process client progress claims and billings, and monitor collections from customers
-Liaise with external parties including suppliers, bankers, auditors, tax agents, and other relevant authorities
-Assist in preparation of audit and tax schedules and address related queries for interim/year-end audits
-Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and accepted accounting practices
-Perform general office administration tasks and provide support where necessary

Administration
-Keeping record of office facility/ equipment/ photocopier for service maintenance and renewal
-Manage and renew company licenses including MBPJ, Manufacturing License, JKKP, MIDA exemption license, and other industry/legal compliance documents
-Oversee all office administrative functions and Supervise and support the admin clerk in daily tasks
-Coordinate and arrange documentation for MICCI/MITI endorsements, embassy legalisation, notary public, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and related agencies
-Ensure all filing systems (physical and electronic) are organized and effective
-Adhere to and follow all instruction, regulation & policy given by the company at all time
-Perform any others duties assigned by superior
-Undertake other special assignments, ad-hoc job / project as and when required by the Management / superior from time to time

Job Requirements:
-Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in accounting or Professional qualification or relevant qualification
-Preferably the least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in handling full set accounts
-Knowledge in SST, Withholding Tax and Corporate Tax will be an added advantage
-Candidate with experiences in manufacturing & Export market, would be prioritised
-Familiar with SQL accounting software would be an added advantage
-Fluent in English & B.Malaysia (both written and verbal)
-Independent, self-motivated, proactive, and a team player
-Must be able to work independently and take initiative
-High accuracy and meticulous
-Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
