Senior Production Planner

Job Description
· Plans and prepares production schedules for product manufacturing; draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet delivery dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
· Develop the supply chain total planning system from sales and marketing to end customer.
· Ensures all parties are fully cognizant of production status; ensure work planning and execution objectives are integrated & communicated.
· Analyses production specifications and capacity of plant, work flow, man power arrangement to improve production planning schedule with effectiveness.
· Optimize production planning and control with up-to-date information on demand variation affecting raw material requirements, and ultimately affecting production planning and overall operation.
· Monitor production results and ensure on-time delivery according to sales forecasts or customer orders and appropriate inventory levels.
· Analyses backlog and capacity utilization.
· To provide timely and accurate production reports as requested by management.
· Resolves or feedback problems utilizing acquired knowledge & analytical abilities.
· Interfaces with manufacturing personnel, the purchasing department and supervisors on material status and production planning issue
· Other Ad-hoc duties

Qualification:
-Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree
-Experience with ERP systems.
-Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in production planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment
