Job Description
1. About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to serve as a core liaison between clients and internal cross-functional teams. You will lead end-to-end project lifecycle management, coordinating across engineering, production, and on-site assembly teams to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget.
2. Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution
• Lead full project lifecycle management from confirmed requirements to final delivery.
• Coordinate resources across engineering, production, and on-site assembly teams to ensure seamless coordination throughout the installation and commissioning phase.
• Resolve technical and resource conflicts during implementation.
• Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to timelines, and develop risk response plans.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
Cross-Department Coordination
• Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams.
• Organize online meetings between clients and the China engineering team for proposal review when on-site modifications are required.
• Document meeting minutes and distribute formal communications to stakeholders.
• Maintain and update project trackers to ensure real-time visibility of progress, risks, and deliverables.
Quality & Cost Control
• Monitor quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet the client’s technical specifications.
• Ensure all deliverables align with client requirements and cost targets.
Project Commissioning Phase
1. Review final approved drawings to understand equipment configuration; coordinate with China engineering team for technical clarifications prior to shipment.
2. Track equipment shipment and coordinate logistics for on-time arrival at client site.
3. Lead on-site unloading, assembly, installation, and commissioning activities.
4. Oversee overall project status during commissioning, including mechanical, electrical, vision systems, and software integration; troubleshoot issues and coordinate resolution with China engineering team.
5. Provide regular project progress reports to clients and escalate critical issues to the Engineering Director in China.
6. Ensure equipment debugging and commissioning align with project timelines and client acceptance criteria.
7. Identify and document new client requirements during site visits; report to the Engineering Director in China for evaluation and solution development.
3. Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Minimum 3 years of project management experience (automation/equipment industry preferred).
3. Strong understanding of cross-functional workflows.
4. Excellent communication and coordination skills (bilingual in Mandarin & English preferred).
5. Proficiency in project management tools.
6. Experience organizing client meetings and managing stakeholder communications.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
8. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a plus.
