Senior QA Analyst

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead end to end manual testing activities across AI-enabled web and/or mobile applications.

Design and develop comprehensive test plans, test scenarios and test cases based on business and technical requirements.

Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities for new features and change requests.

Oversee and execute SIT and UAT activities, ensuring defects are properly identified, documented and resolved through to closure.

Develop and maintain functional test artifacts including test data, test scripts, checklists and regression suites.

Perform thorough functional, integration and regression testing across multiple environments.

Act as quality gatekeeper by challenging requirements, identifying ambiguities and ensuring acceptance criteria are clear, measurable and testable.

Collaborate with cross-functional team to refine requirements, address gaps early, and drive timely defect resolution and fix verification.

Verify AI-related behaviour including output consistency, prompt response validation, edge-case scenarios, and bias/anomaly checks where applicable.

Analyze reported problems, perform root cause analysis and provide impact and risk assessment to support resolution planning.

Isolate, replicate, and verify defect fixes and confirm stability across different environments.

Mentor junior team members, provide guidance and feedback, and contribute to strengthening overall team capability and best practices.



QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field.

At least 5 years of hands-on experience in software testing (manual and/or automation), with strong track record of defect management and problem-solving, preferably in a tech or AI-focused environment.

Hands-on experience using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies such Kanban and Scrum.

Strong knowledge of databases with the ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation.

Solid understanding of Linux/Unix commands for applications and log review.

Experience using test management tools and defect tracking systems such as Jira or equivalent.

Exposure to automation frameworks such as Selenium and Cypress is an added advantage.

Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and risk assessment capability.

Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams (BA, developers, project management).
