Senior Quality Control and Assurance Executive

What you'll be doing:

Quality Control (QC)

Routine defects identification, highlighting, and monitoring of QM Inspectors, for both in-house products and trading products.

Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections based on approved quality standards.

Conduct dimensional checks, visual inspections, sampling, and functional testing.

Identify and report non-conformities; support root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Ensure production output meets product specifications and manufacturing requirements.

Maintain and verify calibration of inspection and measuring tools.


Quality Assurance (QA)

Attending, assisting, investigating, and composing Customer Complaint Reports.

Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality-related issues when required.

Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS).

Prepare and update SOPs, work instructions, inspection checklists, and QA documentation. To prepare, arrange, conduct, compose, amend, and submission of (but not limited to) Procedures, Work Instructions & Guidelines.

Support internal and external audits (ISO 9001 or other standards).

Maintain NCR, CAR, PAR, and quality documentation in an organized manner.


Continuous Improvement

Participate in quality improvement projects (5S, Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma).

Monitor quality trends and recommend preventive measures.

Work closely with Production and R&D Teams to resolve quality issues.


Regulatory & Safety Compliance

Ensure all quality processes follow Malaysian manufacturing standards and company policies.

Promote safe inspection and testing practices within the factory environment.



What we're looking for:

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s in Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

3–5 years of QC/QA experience, preferably in the Manufacturing industries. Experience in the commercial kitchen equipment industry is an added advantage.

Knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS Processes is a must.


Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of inspection methods, testing tools, and measurement equipment.

Familiarity with Quality Tools (5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, SPC, Control Charts).

Good analytical and problem-solving ability.

Strong communication and report-writing skills.

Proficient in MS Office; experience with QC/QA software (Minitab, Paint, etc.).

Detail-oriented and highly disciplined.

Resourcefulness in ensuring works flow smoothly.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Team player with good time management.
