Senior Quantity Surveyor (Commercial)

Key Responsibilities
-Lead site surveys and tender briefings prior to project submission
-Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and develop accurate cost estimates
-Source, evaluate, and negotiate competitive quotations with suppliers and subcontractors
-Conduct in-depth cost analysis and prepare comprehensive trade breakdowns
-Compile, review, and submit complete tender documents including Bills of Quantities (BQ)
-Manage final tender submissions and handle post-tender clarifications, interviews, and negotiations
-Oversee project budgets and implement effective cost control measures
-Evaluate variations, claims, and progress payments
-Work closely with project managers, designers, and stakeholders to meet financial and timeline objectives
-Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QS team members

Requirements
-Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Construction, or related discipline
-3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the interior design and build industry
-Strong knowledge of cost management, tendering processes, and contract administration
-Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
-Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities
-Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines independently
