Senior Staff Engineer - Manufacturing Technology

Responsibilities :

Manage and optimise thermoforming processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost performance

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, waste, and cycle time

Analyse process data and implement effective technical solutions

Oversee thermoforming tooling design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Lead automation and technology improvement projects, including robotics and process control systems

Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies to enhance productivity and competitiveness

Train and support production and engineering teams on best practices and machine operations

Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions when required



Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or related field

Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing technology, process engineering, or automation role within plastics manufacturing (preferably thermoforming)

Experience in automation, robotics, or process control integration is a strong advantage

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills

Able to work independently and collaborate across functions

Proactive, results-driven, and comfortable in a dynamic manufacturing environment

Good communication and presentation skills
