Senior Technical Support Engineer (Group IT - HQ)

Responsibilities: -

Responsible for the administration and support of the Company’s LAN and WAN infrastructure.

Responsible for the administration and capacity management of the Company’s server farms.

Monitor and administer data center infrastructure e.g. SAN/NAS storage, EMS, core switches, clusters.

Perform System and Security Administration e.g. Active Directory, AS/400, Email services, Firewall, VMWare, patch management.

To perform tests on disaster recovery procedures and readiness.

Responsible for managing and deliver the assigned IT projects.

To conduct periodic network and system scans to detect vulnerabilities.

Maintain up-to-date hardware and software records in the inventory system, which includes the maintenance renewals.

To maintain and update IT documentations e.g. security policies, guidelines & procedures etc.

Carry out daily backups and ensure backup media are stored securely, including offsite locations.

Prepare capital expenditure/purchase requisition for procurement of hardware, software and services.

Requirements: -

Advance Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of working experience in troubleshooting PC hardware and software.

Applicants with Security Certifications will be an added advantage: CompTIA Security+, CEH and any other relevant certifications.

Basic understanding of fundamental security concepts like firewalls, encryption, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, etc.)

Excellent interpersonal skills and able to interact with users at all levels.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision and able to perform in a team-base environment with positive working attitude.

Full-time position is available to be based at Menara Hap Seng, Kuala Lumpur.



Working Hours (fully on-site)

Monday - Thursday : 9.00 am - 6.00 pm

Friday : 9.00 am - 5.30 pm

Saturday (Alternate) : 9.00 am -12.30 pm
