Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Client Engagement
1.1. Identify, pursue, and close service sales opportunities, including new contracts, special projects, and customers switching from other service providers.
1.2. Support proposals and quotations for maintenance contracts, system upgrades, and corrective services.
1.3. Conduct professional client meetings, present technical findings clearly, recommend tailored solutions, and close after-sales contracts.
1.4. Oversee secured service projects to ensure delivery matches proposals, safety standards, and client expectations, while coordinating with subcontractors and stakeholders.
2. Service Operations & Support
2.1. Monitor and analyze system performance to ensure efficiency and detect issues.
2.2. Deliver monthly performance and savings reports with actionable insights.
2.3. Respond promptly to client inquiries, complaints, and service requests.
2.4. Work with technical teams to troubleshoot faults, resolve performance issues, and conduct site visits for system assessments and customer engagement.
3. Collaboration & Technical Excellence
3.1. Work with project and planning teams to ensure design compliance and performance standards.
3.2. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, operations, and Business Development (BD) to address service, technical, and sales-support challenges.
3.3. Use AI-based monitoring and diagnostic tools to detect issues, automate reporting, and provide data-driven solutions.
4. Safety & Compliance
4.1. Follow all company and regulatory safety standards during service activities.
4.2. Perform risk assessments before starting work to identify hazards.
4.3. Educate clients and team members on safe practices and evacuation procedures.
4.4. Use PPE correctly and ensure tools/equipment are safe and compliant.
4.5. Report incidents, near-misses, or unsafe conditions immediately accordingly to the safety procedures.
4.6. Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
4.7. Ensure site works are carried out safely in accordance with the identified risk assessment.
5. Other Duties
5.1. Carry out any additional tasks assigned by superiors to support the team and company goals.
Job Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
2–4 years of experience in solar PV systems, after-sales service, or technical support
Proven track record in service sales, preferably within the solar or renewable energy industry
Strong understanding of PV system operations, energy generation metrics, and troubleshooting methods
Familiarity with warranty management and insurance claim processes
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, reporting tools, and solar monitoring platforms
Experience with AI-based monitoring or diagnostic tools is an added advantage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong customer-facing and presentation abilities
Willingness to travel for site visits, client meetings, and sales engagements
Fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
