Role Summary
The Site Supervisor is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and supervising daily site operations to ensure the project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and effective communication with workers, subcontractors, vendors, and management.
Job Responsibilities
Site Operations & Coordination
Oversee day-to-day work activities and ensure smooth site operations.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Schedule and monitor work progress to meet project timelines.
Quality Control
Ensure all workmanship meets the required quality standards and project specifications.
Conduct routine site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly.
Report any non-conformance and implement corrective actions.
Safety Management
Enforce health & safety regulations at all times.
Conduct site safety briefings and toolbox meetings.
Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily site reports, progress updates, and work checklists.
Record material usage, manpower allocation, and site activities.
Report progress and issues to the Project Manager regularly.
Team Leadership
Supervise and guide site workers and subcontractors.
Resolve minor site disputes and ensure good team discipline.
Motivate the team to achieve quality and efficiency targets.
Job Requirements
Diploma/Certificate in Construction, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
2-3 years working experience in Construction with proven experience as Site Supervisor or similar role.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Able to speak in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
Ability to read technical drawings and building plans.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Relevant site safety certifications (added advantage).
Physically fit and willing to work at site.
