SITE SUPERVISOR

A site supervisor in a construction company manages day-to-day operations on the worksite, bridging the gap between on-site workers, subcontractors, and upper management (such as project managers or site agents) to ensure the project is built safely, on time, and to quality standards.
Daily Site Operations: Monitor active construction progress, coordinate daily tasks, and direct the workforce and subcontractors to keep work moving smoothly.
Health and Safety Enforcement: Enforce safety regulations (such as OSHA or local DOSH/CIDB guidelines), conduct safety walks, identify hazards, and ensure workers use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Material & Resource Management: Track inventory, verify delivered building materials meet project requirements, and coordinate machinery, equipment (like cranes or forklifts), and tool availability.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily site logs, track worker attendance, record material usage, document progress photos, and write site reports for the Project Manager.
• Problem-Solving & Disputes: Handle minor day-to-day on-site conflicts, resolve scheduling bottlenecks, and address labor or supplier disagreements immediately.
• Meetings: Attend regular site huddles, progress updates, and coordination meetings with subcontractors and consultants.
