Supervisor - Batching Plant

What you'll be doing

Supervise the daily operations of the batching plant, including monitoring production, troubleshooting any issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards

Coordinate the work of plant operators, drivers, and other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the batching plant

Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and equipment maintenance

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance plant efficiency

Ensure the proper maintenance and upkeep of all batching plant equipment and machinery

Provide training and guidance to plant operators to develop their skills and knowledge

Collaborate with the production and project management teams to align the batching plant's operations with the company's overall objectives

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment preferably in the construction or concrete industry.

Strong technical knowledge of batching plant operations, including the principles of concrete production and the use of related equipment and machinery.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing circumstances

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance within the batching plant

Proficient in using computer software for record-keeping, reporting, and process optimization
