Technical Engineer - Network Engineer

The Technical Consultant is responsible for;



Offer technical consulting to customers on product implementation and optimization

Support the sales team with pre-sales technical input and solution design

Deliver product presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements

Assist in the implementation and deployment of IT/security/networking solutions

Provide technical support to clients across various solutions and platforms.

Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution for technical issues

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their technical needs

Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and partners to ensure solution success

Document technical designs, configurations, and support procedures

Propose and explore new and upcoming technologies in the market

Perform any other duties as assigned



POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field

Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, TCP/IP stack, OSI model, and internet technologies

Proven experience with enterprise networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless network, network access control)

Deep knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel), and IP addressing/subnetting

Experience with network security principles, firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower), VPNs (IPsec, SSL), and access control

Familiarity with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.)

Excellent problem-solving skills and detail oriented

Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

At least 2 years experience in networking or network security domain, in a technical role

Not required but good to have knowledge of Software-Defined Networking (SDN), SD-WAN, and network automation

Not required but good to have knowledge of cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet, GCP networking)

Not required but good to have knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)

Familiarity with other networking vendors and platforms (Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, Arista, Huawei, etc.)

Any cloud, networking (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE), or security certifications is a plus
