Technology Project Manager

What you’ll do:



Managing and mitigating issues and risks throughout the project life-cycle, while expertly balancing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks through formal change management mechanisms

Implementing and maintaining comprehensive project work plans, governance structures, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes

Ensuring accurate development and traceability of project requirements, fostering an environment of continuous improvement

Nurturing client relationships, communicating updates and securing buy-in, effectively representing Avanade in governance meetings

Overseeing Avanade and subcontractor staff assigned to the project, guiding their performance and growth

Determining project approach, staffing, responsibilities, and schedules, and ensuring effective training and resource utilization

Assisting in the sales process by providing work effort and expense estimates using Avanade's standard tools

Across Regional Project Implementation, preferably across Southeast Asia



Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a business or technology-related field will be advantageous. We value a combination of hands-on expertise and educational background to achieve excellence in our projects.

10+ Years of total working experiences

Experienced in Technology Project Implementation across Regional scope, more than 3-5 countries

Would be great if you have recent experiences in Banking/Financial Services Industry in Malaysia Clientele

Profound understanding of contract terms and interpretation, coupled with excellent customer expectations management skills

Proven experience employing key Project/Program Management disciplines, such as estimating, work planning, contract management, and scope management

Proficiency in project management methods, tools, and techniques, complemented by a working knowledge of Microsoft platform technologies and In-depth expertise in Microsoft Project and Team Foundation Server (TFS), enabling precise project tracking and control

Good knowledge of Earned Value reporting to ensure project financial performance

Results-oriented mindset, with a self-directed ability to thrive in an unstructured environment and drive positive change

Customer-oriented attitude and outstanding interpersonal skills, along with strong people management abilities to lead and mentor team members

Would be great if you have, Project Management Institute (PMI) PMP certification & Relevant Microsoft Projects within CRM, ERP
