Warehouse Manager

Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory & Stock Management
-Specialized Storage: Oversee the organized storage of aluminum billets and extruded bars by alloy series (1000–7000) and temper (T4/T5/T6) to prevent cross-contamination or shipping errors.
-FIFO Implementation: Enforce "First-In, First-Out" (FIFO) protocols to ensure production batches are moved efficiently.
-Accuracy & Audits: Lead monthly and year-end stock-take activities; reconcile physical stock with ERP/system records to maintain 99%+ accuracy.

2. Inbound Scrap & Raw Material Flow
-Scrap Cycle Management: Coordinate the intake of aluminum scrap and dross, ensuring it is weighed, graded, and moved to production for the recycling/billet-casting process.
-Space Optimization: Strategically plan floor space for incoming raw materials to maintain a safe and "lean" manufacturing environment.

3. Outbound Logistics & Distribution
-Lorry & Container Coordination: Manage the daily schedule for transport providers, ensuring all local and export deliveries are loaded safely and dispatched on time.
-Documentation Oversight: Ensure all Delivery Orders (DO), Packing Lists, and Weighbridge tickets are 100% accurate before vehicles leave the site.

4. Team Leadership & Safety
-Supervision: Manage a team of Warehouse Assistants, Forklift Drivers, and Weighbridge Operators.
-Safety Compliance: Enforce strict PPE and safety protocols for heavy material handling and overhead crane/forklift operations.

Requirements
-Education: Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
-Experience: Minimum 5–8 years in warehouse management, specifically within heavy industry, metal manufacturing, or construction materials.
-Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Inventory Management Software (ERP/WMS) and MS Excel.
-Solid understanding of LME (London Metal Exchange) grading or general metal scrap categories.
-Leadership: Proven ability to manage a diverse workforce in a fast-paced factory environment.
-Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Malaysian Customs (SST/LMW) and Port Klang logistics procedures is a major advantage.
-Attributes: Strong analytical skills and a "firm but fair" leadership style.
