Warehouse Supervisor

Purpose Statement

This position will cover all activities related from receiving, warehousing, cycle count, issuance, shipping, Customs/trade compliance and physical distribution of material.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct activities related to material receiving, storing, cycle counting, issuing, dispatching, routing, tracking transportation and delivery in timely and error-free manner in accordance to approved procedure.

• Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.

• Ensure high degree of inventory integrity and accuracy.

• Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer(internal and external) or shipper complaints and establish preventive measure.

• Obtain Customs and relevant authorities approval for the importation and exportation of goods and utilize any applicable free trade agreement.

• Manage the performance of logistics service provider.

• Control and Monitor Freight Costs and service level.

• Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.

• Generate accurate and timely measurable, report and metrics as required by management and authorities e.g. Customs.

• Consistently look for continue improvement for the accuracy and productivity of the process.

• Ensure employees are trained and certified in carry out the duty and training is documented.

• Ensures all the activities comply with ethical standards and the internal Quality Management System.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Logistic/Transportation, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.

Required skill(s): People management and supervisory skill, SAP WMS/IMS, problem solving, Kaizen and process improvement, inventory management, end-to-end warehouse operations management, quality management.

Preferably in Distribution or Warehouse/Logistics operation with at least 5 years of experience required.

Able to support shift work if business need require.
