Responsibilities:

Update monthly financial reports and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data captured

Maintain accounting records, reports, and files in an organized manner

Assist with the interim and year-end financial audit

Take on and manage ad-hoc financial assignments and handle other tasks as the superior requires

Report and highlight to the immediate supervisor any non-compliance of procedures and anomalies in the financial statements

Ensure that guidelines and requirements set as per the company’s policies and procedures are being followed

Establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems

Gather, update, and keep financial records and data for permanent files

Attend to other business function's queries and requests in providing data and explanation needed



Responsibilities include:

In charge of GL functions for hotel and club operations of assigned vessels

Perform generation and reconciliation of electronic daily sales analysis

Prepare journal entries and update of general ledger and subsidiary ledgers

Perform posting of transactions to the general ledger, accounts receivable & accounts payable modules

Perform intercompany recharge and billings

Perform accruals and prepayments procedures

Perform and prepare bank reconciliation and revaluation

Perform cash on-board reconciliation and balance sheet accounts clearing



Qualifications and Experience

Degree holder in Accounting/Finance or related discipline and be a qualified accountant

Sound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards

Minimum of 1 - 2 years relevant experience gained in sizeable organizations

Proficiency in MS Office Applications

Familiarity with SAP applications will be an added advantage

Excellent command of written and spoken English, Malay and Mandarin preferred as the role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients
