Requirements

We are looking for a capable and detail-oriented Account Executive to manage the full spectrum of accounting functions at our associate, a growing supplier in the building material industry. This role involves handling full set accounts including AR, AP, GL, invoicing, and financial reporting, while working closely with both the Finance Controller and Sales Team to ensure smooth financial operations.

Education: Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Able to speak in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of relevant working experience. Prior experience in a trading or building material company is an added advantage.
Software Skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting, AutoCount) and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge: Familiar with full set accounts, tax regulation (SST, e-invoicing), and standard accounting practices in Malaysia.
Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Manage full set of accounts including AR, AP, GL, and monthly closing.
Issue sales invoices and follow up with customers on due payments.
Record supplier invoices and prepare payment schedules.
Prepare monthly reports, bank reconciliations, and financial summaries.
Monitor and update aging reports for customer collections.
Liaise with the Sales team on billing accuracy, credit terms, and collection updates.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including SSTand E-Invoicing requirements.
Maintain organized records for accounting, audit, and tax purposes.
