Responsibilities
-Greet and welcome customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression of Jaslyn Cakes.
-Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations based on customer preferences.
-Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee, tea, and fresh juices, according to Jaslyn Cakes' standards and recipes.
-Handle food preparation tasks, such as slicing cakes, assembling pastries, and ensuring proper presentation of all menu items.
-Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the service area, including wiping tables, sweeping floors, and sanitizing equipment.
-Process customer payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash transactions with integrity.
-Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other service crew members to ensure smooth and efficient service operations.
-Manage customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally, escalating complex problems to the supervisor when necessary.
-Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff.
-Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up the service area, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper storage of food items.
