Job Description

Requirements:
-Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
-Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out, furniture manufacturing, or woodcraft-related projects.
-Good knowledge of joinery, carpentry materials, finishing types, and hardware fittings.
-Familiar with contract management, tendering, cost estimation, and project documentation for customized furniture projects.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of AutoCount, CostX, or similar QS software is an advantage.
-Good command of English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
-Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
-Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
-A committed team player with high integrity, attention to detail, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare and review tender documents, bills of quantities (BQ), quotations, and cost estimates for custom-made furniture and interior fit-out projects.
-Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations (e.g. carpentry, finishing, hardware, and installation) and prepare price comparison summaries for management approval.
-Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts accurately and on time.
-Verify and certify subcontractor claims, material usage, and site progress to ensure alignment with project records.
-Maintain proper documentation of contracts, correspondence, and payment records.
-Liaise with design, production, and project teams to ensure accurate cost tracking, efficient resource usage, and compliance with contractual terms.
-Assist in budget monitoring, cost control, and financial reporting for furniture and interior projects.
-Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve contractual, cost, and payment issues.
-Support project closing activities, ensuring all final accounts and documentation are properly completed for audit and record purposes.
-Ensure all cost and contractual activities comply with company policies, project specifications, and statutory requirements.
