Job Responsibilities

-Develop, implement, and monitor QA procedures and SOPs in layer farms, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (DVS, Department of Health, etc.).

-Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.

-Conduct regular audits and inspections of layer farm operations (feed, water, environment, egg handling, etc.) to ensure hygiene, animal health, and product safety standards.

-Investigate quality issues, non-conformance, or deviations, and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

-Manage documentation related to farm QA programs including ISO 9001, MSPO, and other relevant standards.

-Update and maintain all quality system-related documents and records, ensuring all quality records are properly filed and readily accessible for audits or inspections.

-Support farm operations in quality-related training for staff and workers (biosecurity, hygiene practices, SOPs).

-Prepare monthly QA reports and updates for management review.

-Lead or support internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, MSPO, certification bodies, customer audits).

-Monitor compliance with MSPO principles related to sustainability, traceability, safety, and environmental management.


Person Specifications:

Education & Qualification

-Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Veterinary, Food Technology, Agriculture, or a related field.

-Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), especially ISO 9001, and food safety standards such as HACCP and GMP.

-Hands-on experience with MSPO implementation is highly preferred.

-Good understanding of farm biosecurity, animal welfare, and environmental management practices.

-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

-Able to work independently.


Relevant Experience & Years of Service

-Minimum 5 years of QA experience in the poultry industry, preferably in layer farming.
