Duties & Responsibilities:
-Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) management systems in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
-Ensure site activities align with environmental laws, safety regulations, and ISO standards, reporting non-compliance.
-Conduct regular assessments to identify and mitigate environment, safety, and health hazards.
-Perform routine inspections to enforce safety protocols and address hazards or unsafe practices.
-Plan and deliver training to staff and subcontractors for awareness and adherence to ESH policies.
-Promptly report incidents, facilitate investigations, and implement corrective actions.
-Monitor project activities to ensure effective waste management, resource usage, and pollution control.
-Develop and implement emergency response plans, ensuring personnel are trained in procedures.
-Maintain accurate ESH records and prepare performance reports, including audits and incident investigations.
-Ensure subcontractors and suppliers adhere to ESH requirements and safety protocols.
-Support sustainability practices and identify opportunities to enhance ESH standards on-site.
-Support the Management Representative in internal audits of the ESH management system, assisting in ensuring compliance with ISO standards and identifying areas for improvement.

Job Responsibility
-Accountable for ensuring compliance with ESH laws, regulations, and project-specific requirements under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
-Report, investigate, and track corrective actions for accidents, near-misses, and non-compliance issues.
-Implement effective waste management, sustainability initiatives, and environmental controls to reduce ecological impact.
-Monitor and enforce health and safety measures, including proper use of PPE and adherence to protocols.
-Maintain accurate ESH records, assist in internal audits, and ensure corrective actions from audits are implemented.
-Support sustainability, quality control, and the resolution of issues from incidents, inspections, and audits.

Requirement/Skills
- A diploma or degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field.
-Relevant certifications such as Certified Safety & Health Officer (SHO) by DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia), and other recognized ESH certifications.
-3-5 years of experience in ESH roles, with hands-on experience in safety and environmental management.
-Experience in specific industries such as construction and substation project in an added advantage.
-Experience in conducting site inspections, risk assessments, and implementing safety measures in various working environments.

Skills:
-A diploma or degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field.
-Relevant certifications such as Certified Safety & Health Officer (SHO) by DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia), and other recognized ESH certifications.
-3-5 years of experience in ESH roles, with hands-on experience in safety and environmental management.
-Experience in specific industries such as construction and substation project in an added advantage.
-Experience in conducting site inspections, risk assessments, and implementing safety measures in various working environments.

Additional Requirements:
-Valid Malaysian driver’s license (Class D) for site visits and inspections.
-Willingness to travel to and from various construction sites.
-Immediate availability is an added advantage.
