• Manage sales reporting and e-invoicing for local customers.

• Review supplier invoices and staff claims for self-billing reporting and payment of withholding taxes.

• Assist in the preparation and reporting of digital service tax, service tax and tourism tax.

• Assist in the preparation of journal entries and other required documentation to facilitate an accurate and efficient month-end financial close.

• Assist in with year-end audit requests, annual tax filling and statistics as required by the Malaysian government.

• Processing payments for professional fees incurred by the finance department.

• Assist the team in providing guidance and support to employees on staff claims-related queries, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

• Provide local support to various business units on local taxation and e-invoicing matters.

• Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned, based on the needs of the department. This may include assistance on matters covering other countries within South East Asia.

What you'll Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field

• At least 5 years of relevant experience

• Good understanding of e-invoicing requirements in Malaysia

• Prior experience in the e-commerce or tourism industry is preferred but not mandatory
