PRINCIPAL FUNCTION

Responsible for overseeing daily operations of the RPM Warehouse and Weighing functions to ensure efficient material handling, accurate weight measurement, compliance with safety standards, and smooth workflow coordination. This role supports continuous improvement, manpower management, operational accuracy, and timely reporting to ensure all warehouse activities meet company requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee daily operations of RPM Warehouse including receiving, storing, issuing, and inventory control of raw and packaging materials.

Ensure proper storage methods, material rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and stock handling procedures.

Monitor weighing operations to ensure accuracy, calibration compliance, and adherence to SOPs.

Ensure accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts, monthly stock take, and variance investigations.

Monitor SAP/WMS transactions for accuracy and compliance.

Ensure all weighing documentation, materials issuance logs, and warehouse forms are properly updated and filed.

Lead root-cause investigations for inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Lead and supervise warehouse & weighing teams, including task assignment, performance monitoring, and training.

Ensure adequate manpower planning, shift arrangement, and workload balancing.

Drive productivity improvements and enforce discipline in accordance with company policies.

Identify areas for process improvements and lead optimization initiatives (layout planning, workflow enhancement, digitisation initiatives).

Analyse operational data to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen accuracy.

Support cost-saving initiatives within the department.

Prepare and submit weekly/monthly operational reports including inventory accuracy, manpower utilisation, receiving/issuing statistics, and weighing data.

Highlight operational challenges and propose corrective action plans.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 3–5 years working experience in warehouse operations; experience in food manufacturing or FMCG is an added advantage.

Knowledge in ERP/WMS systems, warehouse documentation, and weighing procedures.

Strong leadership abilities with good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently, handle pressure, and manage multiple tasks.

Physically fit and willing to work in warehouse environment.

Willing to be based in or relocate to Pulau Indah.
