Job Description

Draft, review, negotiate and advise on all contract in relation to suppliers, vendors, business associates, and customers of the company.

To advise, guide, research and resolve legal disputes through analysis of relevant laws and provide legal solutions to the business units.

Manage contentious/litigious matters with external counsel and monitor the timeline closely and critical deadline of on-going litigation matters of the company.

Responsible for intellectual property portfolio management, including managing external counsel in all filing, update and maintaining the record of the company's intellectual property asset.

Collaborate, report to and work under the supervision of the Head of Division & Head of Department for any assigned tasks from time to time.

Manage and coordinate corporate secretarial responsibilities, including preparing board and committee papers, maintaining statutory registers, filling annual returns, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements.



Qualification & Experience

Possess Degree in Law or above; admitted as Advocate & Solicitors in Malaysia or UK Bar.

Minimum of 2 years' PQE gained as in-house counsel and/or lawyer in recognized and reputable law firm, institution or organization.

Excellent collaboration skills and ability to interact professionally at all levels.

Experiences and exposures in public listed company or MNC is an advantage.
