Full job description
Contract & Quantity Surveying
-Provide pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services for assigned projects.
-Advise on appropriate contract procedures and procurement strategies.
-Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) and tender documents for both main and subcontract works.
-Evaluate and analyze tenders to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements.
-Finalize and agree on contract claims, payments, and final accounts with contractors and subcontractors.

Cost Management & Control
-Monitor and control project budgets to ensure expenditures align with approved costs.
-Assist in cost estimation and cost planning for new and ongoing projects.
-Prepare and analyze cost comparisons to support decision-making.
-Establish and maintain a database for costs, materials, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Procurement & Vendor Coordination
-Source, obtain quotations, and perform pricing negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
-Evaluate supplier proposals to ensure quality, value, and compliance.
-Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and services.

Administrative & Other Duties
-Maintain accurate records of contracts, tender submissions, and cost data.
-Support project teams with contractual and cost-related matters.
-Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
