About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative ARCHI Engineer / Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Telford Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd & Telford Signature (M) Sdn Bhd. This full-time position is based in Johor Bahru District, Johor and will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional design and coordination services to our clients.

What you'll be doing

Conceptualising and designing innovative interior spaces that meet the functional and aesthetic requirements of our clients

Preparing detailed design plans, specifications, and technical drawings for interior projects

Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure the successful implementation of design plans

Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise

Collaborating with clients to understand their vision and preferences, and translating them into practical, visually appealing designs

Staying up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into your designs

Coordinate and supervise architectural and fit-out works on site

Ensure works are carried out according to approved architectural drawings, specifications, and method statements

Liaise with architects, interior designers, consultants, and site teams on architectural matters

Prepare, review, and coordinate shop drawings, material submissions, and samples

Monitor workmanship quality and ensure compliance with project standards

Identify and resolve architectural coordination issues and site discrepancies

Conduct site inspections and ensure rectification of defects

Maintain proper architectural documentation, reports, and records

Support project team in planning and coordination of architectural works

Ensures the implementation of the ISO 9001requirements are effectively carried out

What we're looking for

Degree in Interior Design or a related field

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the architecture or interior design industry

Strong technical skills in design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Passionate about creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces
