Education:
-High School diploma or GED
-Diploma in kinesiology, sports/exercise science, or other related field preferred or
-Equivalent Work/Life Experience.

Experience:
-Two-year personal training experience preferred
-Program design experience preferred

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:
-Current Certified Personal Trainer (Minimum of One Certification)
-Current CPR/AED certification

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics:
-Ability to build relationship with members
-Excellent customer service and promotional skills; energetic, enthusiastic and motivational
-Ability to resolve conflicts in a professional, tactful manner
-Excellent interpersonal skills
-Extensive knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design
-Knowledge of safe exercise techniques, and potential injuries and ability to handle emergencies
-Be able to demonstrate exercises and adjust machine weights, free weights, and cardiovascular equipment
-Be able to confidently sell Personal Training Packages
-Be an enthusiastic Learner
-Excellent time management and organizational skills
-Ability to operate computer and office software, MS Word, Excel, and Anytime Fitness programs
