Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 Performs project planning, justification, specification development, and budgeting.

 Provides significant leadership for process of new product/process developments.

 Manage project schedules and timelines.

 Identifies and implements significant continuous improvement projects.

 Provides lead in creativity around solving problems.

 Liaise with Quality and Purchasing on material qualifications.

 Liaise with Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, R&D from design center on project or product

development activities.

 Generally able to identify solutions to problems encountered without assistance and develops and

secures resource planning.

 Works with all Manufacturing areas of the Plant regarding product designs.

 Works with Plant engineers, management, vendors, consultants, and interfaces with other BD

Plants, platform teams, and sales & marketing on development, design, and fabrication of

equipment or processes for new products and technologies.

 Generates and submits new project ideas.

 Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.


Education and Experience:

1. Minimum bachelor’s degree in Materials Science/Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with a

minimum or other equivalent engineering degree

2. MS Office, AutoCAD

3. Minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar field is required for this position

4. Medical device manufacturing experience is an advantage

5. Lean and/or Six Sigma certification is an added advantage
